The trip page is pretty much as I wrote it up originally. The plans are to stay in Robert Trehman State Park. we have a multitude of day hikes through gorges and waterfalls to choose from. The ones that are a must are Taughannock SP (215 foot waterfall - 33 feet larger than Niagra's biggest) and Watkins Glen. I am putting together more optional itinerarys and i figure we can collectively decide on what we want to do or go on separate outings for day hikes. As far as accomodations go, i will update the taken/not taken sites ASAP. Sites can be gotten through reserve america. For the three nights, it is a total of 48 dollars including fee.

whats the chance of getting a spot to camp when you get there? I am so uncertain of what is going on right now that I hate to make any type of commitments that far in advance.

Ok, Ewk. I wanted to make sure the picture would come out. I think that sites 38,and 47-56 are still open. Not sure about that, but that's not far from accurate. So, there's lots of sites. i will confirm that later at home and post about it. So, you have an idea. I will also e mail you the link for reserve america...

Let's keep something in mind, folks. Sharing tent sites amongst us is great and encouraged. But, keep in mind that the park guidelines permit only two tents per site. I don't have a problem with pushing that a little, but let's keep it within reason. There are plenty of open sites. If we need to book a few more, then let's do it when the unsure bunch figure out their plans better...

Now, those sites 'Taken By Unknowns' represent a potential hurdle towards our monopoly on this loop. They could have been taken by people within our group that haven't spoken up, or they could have been taken by outsiders that have bratty kids and drink all your beer. Now, being that there is no way of knowing for sure what sort of enemy we are dealing with here, it is imperative that we give some consideration now to the available sites and try to assess just how much space we are going to need.

Seriously, anyone who is definitely going: could you please make your names as definites on the trip page. This will help me in organizing certain aspects of the trip. Those that are not sure: hey, I don't want to be pushy...

I think you get my drift here. I just want this to come off well. Frankly, I would love to see some groups who are going scarf up on the remaining sites ASAP. I am guessing that we may need those additional three sites...

That would be great, WK. If you are willing to do that, we can work out the money thing later with the inhabitants of the site. Thanks, big guy!

I get the feeling we will need these sites...
