Ithaca Car Camping trip

OK WHAT ABOUT FIRE WOOD?

I have the truck and I could get a trailer. I cut fire wood all the time with my 2 Husky's. I have to whack down a few apple tree's (would need to do soon to allow time for drying) Apple wood makes purdy colors when it burns. I could also get some "slab wood" which is a pine from a saw mill, fast and hot burning...

I will be on the road from 8 July and camping in my four-man dome but will gladly shack up with others in one of your biggun's at Ithaca.

“OK here is what I think I will do, let me know if it works for you.... I don't know if I can get the Friday off yet. So, I will go on the basis' that I cant. I get out of work at 4pm on Thursday. I could have the trailer Loaded up on Wednesday night after work and a partial truck load too.. I will blast home after work on Thursday finish loading the truck and hook up the trailer. I will be out of my place by 530pm hopefully arriving at the sites around 730pm... We can unload it have a few beers, visit, set up a tent and leave by 830 home by 10pm and goto bed, Then work on Friday, leave work for home to get more wood if needed, loaded up beer & gear and be at the to site by 7-8 pm lastest... Now I have not heard from Chili on his flight and if he wants me to pick him up. if so I could pick him up with the truck and wood on Thursday or Friday which ever he decides...If I do get the days off it will make life way easier and I wont have to rush... ok, ya got all that ?? LOL”

Linus and I will be leaving the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont on the morning of 16 July.

Its close to 400 miles from Guildhall, Vermont to Ithaca......YOW ! !

We will be lucky to get to Ithaca by 4:00 PM!”

No offense to anyone, but I would rather sleep in my own tent. I sometimes snoore and I am usually in and out of the tent all night. I will if I have to, but for now and not planning on it.
