“Looks like it was taken off the trip page.. But it can still be done easily if ya want.All we gotta do is plan it and go.I live about 3.5 hours from Smoky Mts.Let me know if you're interested.”

“Yeah, I took it off the board. I put a message on there saying that my goals had changed and didn't want to do it. No one responded one way or the other so I left it up for about 3 months to make sure folks saw that I was out and then I deleted the trip.

I still have the spreadsheet with all the elevation and mileage info if anyone wants it.”

After a trip in Sept I decided that I wouldn't try anymore high mileage trips in the Smokies. Some things happened where some folks had to bail and the rest of us got about 3 hrs behind waiting on folks. With the designated campsites and reservation system it makes it difficult to make changes on the fly. I should say I won't do anymore high mileage/low time frame trips. If I had time to do mileage with plenty of time then do problem.”
