Took a big slug while waiting for the kona to do its thing in the press...... MMMMMMMMMMMMM-Boy! Try that with a warm can of Buttweiper. BOOOO-ya. (dyed-in-the-merino-wool beer snob and couldn't be prouder < LOL >)” 7:17:31 AM 7/15/07 “I'm surprised you can't get Yuengling in Georgia. It's seems to be everywhere in South Carolina. And it's cheap; $4.09 a six-pack. I can get a case of it for like $15.75. I drink it as my everyday mexican food, hamburger, pizza beer. It seems to remind me of Rolling Rock (another PA beer) in some way but I'm not sure how. I'm gonna have to buy some RR and compare the two. What's great about Yuengling is you can buy the B&T for the same price as the lager. For about a year now I've been drinking Titan IPA from the Great Divide Brewing Co in Colorado. It's a beer you have to aquire a taste for because it is hopped like crazy. It's also 6.8 percent alcohol. I have friends that bring me a case about once every six weeks from Asheville, NC. South Carolina just legalized high gravity beer so I expect we'll be able to buy it here before long. But I'm getting bored with it. So many beers and so little time and all that.... What I need is some more Seirra Nevada Porter. That beer is my favorite but at $28.00+ a case it's not sometime I can afford to guzzle down after mowing the lawn. And that's my problem... I love to guzzle! :)” 8:44:21 AM 7/15/07 “Guzzlers of the world unite --- Ah, "Rock'n'Roll Beer".... flashbacks to '77.” 9:07:05 AM 7/15/07 “SH, if you like Porters try a Sinesbrychoff, its Finnish. Very rich and full bodied, my fav. Though at $7 per bottle its a rare treat. Cant beat porter.” 9:31:45 AM 7/15/07 “Yep, so so good.” 1:48:29 PM 7/15/07 “Sounds deadly. I'll be on the lookout --- The image is a link to the company.” 5:08:21 PM 7/15/07 “I'm drinking Yuengling Lager. The more I drink the more the joint and muscle pain goes away.” 5:11:34 PM 7/15/07 “I'm going for a one-two punch this evening. First, the Morland "Old Speckled Hen" ![]() (named for pre-WWII MG, apparently...) ![]() The Aforementioned 'Old Speckled Hen' Then.... the Duvel ![]() Aprés Moi, le Duvel Good-bye Cruel World! ” 7:57:05 PM 10/01/07 “Questions or comments? If you don’t like this beer, keep it to yourself – we don’t want to hear from any sniveling yellow-beer drinkin’ wimps, ‘cause this beer wasn’t made for you.” 8:01:47 PM 2/07/08 “ ”8:13:24 AM 2/23/09 Look gift beer in the mouth “My dad left me to house sit, and left 7 cases of natural lite in the garage fridge. Best of all is the label: Weep for your northern brethren: Long winters; Suspect college football; and perhaps worst of all, no Red Brick Beer. Since 1993 We've been brewing fine craft beers for the south, and only the south. We're proud to stand alongside grits, houndogs and mama as embodiments of the southern lifestyle. We're proud to be the beer from around here. Brewed in Atlanta, GA by the Atlanta Brewing Company.” 5:46:11 PM 4/05/10 “I'm not ashamed to say, Miller High Life, Really I never drink it, but somebody left it in my fridge, so here I am, living the high life.” 5:50:33 PM 4/05/10 “Pliney the Elder, Russian River Brewing Company. so much cascade hops that it has a taste of grapefruit juice almost! goooooooood stuff. later, i'll have another or two of my homebrew Nut Brown Ale.” 5:24:53 PM 7/10/10 “Miller Motherfvckin High Life! I have PBR, Yuengling, Sam Adams Lager, and I think 1 more XX Lager in the beer fringe in the basement. PBR has become my summer beer of choice around the pool though.” 11:16:33 AM 7/11/10 “Ah.... Boone's Farm Apple. Where were You in '71? LOL A little of that Fin du Monde goes a long way. Two bottles of that and I felt like I'd eaten half a spice cake. Verry Tasty, though. I will have to perform a recon mission and find the place next time I am down there” 4:16:54 PM 9/19/10 “Made it to the Abita Brewery several times while living in N'Awlins..
