Nothing Worse Than A Blown Up Beer
Pretty cold, eh Zac?

A long time ago one winter I had a case of beer in the car and most of the bottles froze. So I brought the case into work and hid it so it'd thaw. When I picked out one of the beers that didn't freeze I accidentially bumped it and must've released some pressure because it started freezing right before my eyes. I called to a couple of workers to come over and watch...and as I held the bottle upside down, feather-like ice crystals grew up from the cap area and slowly overtook the whole inside of the bottle. It is one of the coolest things I've seen, imo.

It technically wasn't mine and it was only Woodchuck Hard Cider. Still one would have been pretty good right now.

Sam Smith and Newcastle are among the best beers, unless you prefer uropean style lagers, etc., or, Gawd forbid, the Belgian stuff.

My local has Newkie on tap, but I've developped a preference for Rickard's Honey Brown whuich is brewed be Molson's to compete with the many micro-breweries around here.

Well, I was sticking to "Newcastle", but the above apricot suggestion reminded me of my old favorite "Magic Hat #9" which has a hint of apricot, and "Blue Moon" a Belgian wheat beer,is particularly good too esp on tap

I have to say that this apricot ale is not my favorite. It's plenty fine, but not the best.
