Wow, $2 apiece! They don't have a weight listed though, hmmm...

Might have to get some to complement the nonics my wife is supposed to be ordering for me...

Now all I need is beer on tap in my den, and I'm an Irish brewpub with Internet access, lol...

Ah, thread degradation by way of discussion on beer.

I love this place.

Actually, when you go to the order form, they are $2.50/each. Still a great deal, though. Maybe a couple of (2 oz!!!) shot glasses as well...

That's a healthy shot.

Not as healthy as the ones that <name of TT'er removed> was taking the other night, but healthy nonetheless....

Reminds me of the commercial with the guy from Ohio State and the girl from Michigan making out on the couch. They show them for a few seconds, then pop up text that says "WITHOUT SPORTS, THIS WOULDN'T BE UNNATURAL" or something to that effect.

Hey Father Goose!
What time did you leave Saw Mill camp Sunday morning. There was a tent still up when divinity and I left about 9:30. It was over close to where trekkngirl and we were camped.
Just wondering if that was yours.

I saw FG come off the trail around 11:30 while I was waiting for OPIE. I saw that one too and even walked up to it to see if it was you, SS. I was trying to make sure everyone that needed a shuttle, got a shuttle. I never could find your little lovenest though.

I left about 9:30, SS. If you recall, I packed my hammock for that trip. No more sleeping on the ground for me...

Father Goose

I wonder who it was?
From the fire, if you walked on the trail past the privy a little ways on the right at the next camp spot were trekkngirl and we. A little farther on the left at the next campspot was the subject unknown tent. Never saw anyone around it.
StoveStomper

It was the ranger's tent

That was my tent. I like to sleep in on the last day. I didn't break camp 'til 10:45. I saw Stikmon and Gojo before they left. By the time I changed out of my muddy clothes at the ranger station it was after 1:00p, a heavy fog was rolling in and it was getting COLD!

Yeah, you asked if it was stikmon, i said "no", you said something about shuttling to Collins West and I answered that I was parked at Stone Door. That's all I remember before nodding back off to sleep. When I got to the parking lot I was just happy that the "power T" license plate had not been desecrated. :)

Ouch! I wouldn't have touched the power t, kinda like the opposite of holy water and vampires, only I'm the good guy!

Thanks for the Wild Turkey recipes. I'll be trying some of those.

Khatru says hello to you sarabelle...
he liked your stinky butt, and your other stinky thing. He didn't like it though when Gizmo tried to hump him. Khatru is the kind of boy that likes to be the humper, not the humpee...

and as for rotten socks...peeing in a plastic zip lock was just too much for me. NO WAY...chili...she's ALLLLLLLLLLLL yours.

well, I still haven't finished my trip report, actuall, I barley have begun, been real busy at home and work, but I will try this evening. I looked at my photos, some are real good, others are a real dissappointment. I don't like this particular camera I used, oh well...just gonna have to go back, I guess...

DH...no, I did not hang around, I went home, and that worked out well...hit the office up on Monday, and got lots of good stuff done, and even watched X-men 2. good movie. It pays to work for the cable company...hahahha

More later/....

FG: Great. Done. We can move on. Schedule-wise? My gosh..TS-16949. Enough said, if you know the venacular. Anyway, hiking..dont know..but SmokyGirl and a few others, been trying to get me to plan one, but my work schedule is pretty tight right now.. working a LOT of weekends..but hey.. surely by Feb or March.

My buddy John wants to do a return to the AT.. Go in bout Woody Gap maybe, I forget -- and do the Springer trip in reverse.

My friends SG, and her clan are talking SEVERAL trips.. mostly around the spring breaks, college wise.

Sipsey would be nice -- since it's fairly close to me -- but i want to also do Cold Mountain this year -- and get started on Cumberland Trail

So I got a full season -- if I can ever get started again. Hope to hang out sometime with you,and all TT'ers. Always a good time.

Howdy everyone.

OPIE needs to post his dang picks. I crossed the creek at Horsepound falls by using walking across a small, wet log. OPIE got an action shot that I'm curious to see. Also, he got several waterfall pictures.

and nice pics, walkindude.

When I first looked at the shots I had to do a doubletake, cuz I thought I saw Crazy Mike. I guess it might be Wounded Knee?? But he is wearing clothes similar to what Crazy Mike has worn before and has the same kind of body structure. Least wise, it looked that way in the pics.

Also, please bar pants that have reflective stripes on them!! LOL! j/k

Good pictures, y'all.

I had a great time. Cudos to Daysie for a job well done.

The Great Stone Door was impressive - it alone made the trip worthwhile. Add a couple dozen TTers to the mix, and it's, like... grooviness overload!

Chili -
Not only did we hear the panty extracation story, we got the lowdown about "The Incident"...

Yes! The Incident - LOL!
j/k...

Going in, I was like "WTF? Rangers coming into camp AFTER dark?" (that's contrary to NFS policy). But I now understand the importance of monitoring folks in the backcountry so's to make sure someone isn't lying at the bottom of a cliff...

The dogs and I solo'd out Sunday. I always enjoy having the backcountry all to myself on that last day. Dunno why... maybe it's my way of bidding farewell to the woods...

My first TN hike, it was. And a doozie to boot!

God Bless Tennessee!

See youn's at Ocala or Sipsey or what never...
