Democrats really suckView Messages“They turn the cities to shiite. give me the biggest tax hikes I ever seen.then they tell me I suck when I complain.” 7:46:51 PM 1/19/04 “I must disagree. Democrats do a lot of good for the enviromental policies. Look what that damn republican in office now is doing to alaska and all the good wilderness preservation programs that Clinton set up.” 7:48:47 PM 1/19/04 “elfskin doesnt believe in taxes. he thinks free sht falls from the sky” 7:53:45 PM 1/19/04 “Elfskin2 is probebly one of those wellfare jerks who wants everythig handed to him on a silver platter while everyone else works their asses off for a living.” 7:55:47 PM 1/19/04 “Geez, I thought I saw a whole bunch of things suck threads.... I wuz jumpin on the wagon by jiminy.” 7:56:23 PM 1/19/04 “elfskin sucks” 7:57:20 PM 1/19/04 “this thread sucks” 7:57:44 PM 1/19/04 “Go suck an egg!” 7:57:51 PM 1/19/04 “go suck your mom” 7:59:36 PM 1/19/04 “You can suck her. I don't quite swing that way pal....unless there is a big sum involved. I may consider it then. (JK)” 8:00:45 PM 1/19/04 “I'm trying to not post politics. It wuz the only chit I knew to throw. I swear I saw a bunch of everything suck threads.” 8:01:18 PM 1/19/04 “How about tarting a thread about ducks?” 8:02:06 PM 1/19/04 “I mean starting.” 8:02:25 PM 1/19/04 “you suck at starting fights” 8:02:40 PM 1/19/04 “Who, me? I'm not starting fights.” 8:03:14 PM 1/19/04 “i like the sound of tarting ducks. sounds exotic” 8:05:32 PM 1/19/04 “I like the sounds of farting ducks myself.” 8:06:11 PM 1/19/04 “The pond I live on is used by fishermen and ice boats. Last weekend it was crawling with snow mobiles...that sucked.” 8:06:27 PM 1/19/04 “Insults roll of me like rain of a duck!” 8:07:19 PM 1/19/04 “if you were a fish, you would have to get used to the sound of ducks farting” 8:09:18 PM 1/19/04 “I had never thought of that before.” 8:10:40 PM 1/19/04 “Atl least I would know where the ducks were.” 8:10:44 PM 1/19/04 Got to love thread degredation. “Water farts are my favorite to be frank with you.” 8:13:20 PM 1/19/04 “My best gas pass comes from doing a few laps. Must be the water pressure on my head.” 8:16:03 PM 1/19/04 “ok everyone. i am sorry. i have a confession to make. Shytweasel and elfskin2 are my made-up personas that i creatd to amuse myselves. my first trolls. what did y'all think?” 8:16:03 PM 1/19/04 “Good try Storm. Is it working?” 8:17:00 PM 1/19/04 “no, im still not amused” 8:17:54 PM 1/19/04 “Ya ain't got the brain sells to thing up a tag like mine. Look at the lame shingle you hung out on.” 8:18:54 PM 1/19/04 “What if I danced around in a pink thong thingy for you? No, thats too trollish. I won't go there.” 8:19:28 PM 1/19/04 “This thread is about as satisfying as having phone sex with a deaf girl.......” 10:59:52 PM 1/19/04 “I believe it was a republican who formed the idea of a National Park- TR” 11:16:08 PM 1/19/04 “Now that I have come to have little confidence in Bush I have been swearing up and down that while I may not vote for him I simply can’t vote for a democrat. But in re examining this stance I feel that a democrat would not be the end of the world. We survived the Clinton years after all. I also feel it just might be a GOOD thing as the republicans still control the other branches. Thus far I feel they have not lived up to their end of the bargain. Maybe a balance would be a good thing? The only problem is that there appear to be only a few democratic candidates I feel I could vote for. Sadly the front runners Dean and Kary are NOT them. What’s a turncoat to do?” 8:02:12 AM 1/20/04 “TR was one of the greatest presidents we ever had, Tea. You are right. The party's core values (on both sides) have changed a bit over the years, however. No matter which side you are on, it is irrelevant when you are comparing policies of one hundred years ago to today.” 8:07:11 AM 1/20/04 “TR - is a great person to look up to. The times were alot of different back then, but in many ways, they are the same. When TR wanted to get involved in politics, his friends thought he was crazy. Back then, politics was best left to the cream that had risen from toilet. Politics was a were are the famed liers, cheats and thieves lived, much like today. Remember, the more things changes, the more they stay the same. I find it VERY interesting that Dean did so poorly in Iowa. It goes to show that he is clearly not the person to get the nod. Hell, give it up to Geppie. He knows when his goose is cooked. He should, poor bastard didn't even stand a chance. Kunich gave his support to Edwards, so I'd woulda liked to see what Eddy coulda done naked. IS Kerry da man? Nope. Y'all just wait until New Hampshire, were the big dogs play.......” 8:18:08 AM 1/20/04 “True guys. The two parties have changed so much over even the last few decades. Hell, JFK would be a republican now.” 8:26:24 AM 1/20/04 Turncoat “After seeing the DC Dems kowtow to the DNC and most "real" primary candidates turn there back on DC's wimpy first-in-the-nation primary I am leaving the DEM party and signing up as "no affiliation". I will not vote GOP or DEM until I have representation. So iguess I vote "other" for the rest of my life.” 8:44:59 AM 1/20/04 “I agree bearmag, there seems to be little difference between the two parties. They are all career politicians. It puts us in a hard spot because on one hand if we vote third party we are somewhat throwing our vote away but on the other hand we’ll never be free of the two party system until we DO vote third party.” 8:50:57 AM 1/20/04 “Throwing our vote away? Maybe. i think Dems don't care about DC b/c they know DC will vote Dem no matter what, for "the good of the party". That was the reasoning for the last insult. Everyone here is complaining but they will turn around and vote Dem for the same reason. What if DC became 90% Independent instead of Dem? Would anyone care? Maybe. The population is almost as big as some states. If the dems don't care about DC not having reps then why should I care about this party? I choose to "Take" away my vote.” 9:03:19 AM 1/20/04 “Amen, Nigal. If Ross hadn't gone out on tangents, he might have revived a three party system. As is, we only have two and I, like you, feel that the spinmasters are going to plank the platform with whatever it takes. I guess my attraction to Clark is that he, alone, is not a career politician. (Albeit, one does not make General in the Army without "politics" to some degree).” 9:03:48 AM 1/20/04 The difference between GOP & DEMs “Dems get caught cheating.” 9:03:56 AM 1/20/04 “That’s funny you should talk about how the Dems assume they have DC wrapped up. It’s always the biggest supporters that get the least attention from a candidate isn’t it? It’s like the repubs and the religious right. They don’t have to cater to them because they know they have no other option…or so they THINK!” 9:09:36 AM 1/20/04 “Mumbles, the mayor of Beantown, puts a 100% property tax raise on every one this year. All the city unions are demonstrating against him. He blames the tax on all the money sucking city grubs. All smoke and mirrors to finance the big donkey convention coming to town. Democrats suck!” 10:10:12 AM 1/20/04 “Political language - and with variations this is true of all political parties, from Conservatives to Anarchists - is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind. George Orwell (1903 - 1950)” 10:19:02 AM 1/20/04 “Amen to that.” 10:26:16 AM 1/20/04 “Orwell was a powerful thinker” 10:30:56 AM 1/20/04 “bearmagnet, It's not throwing your vote away, if you believe in what and whom you are voting for. As for Ross, even though he didn’t win the election, some of the issues that he brought forth affected the other parties.” 10:34:53 AM 1/20/04 “The problem with the third party these days is that it is viewed in the light that: 1) the Independant (or other) party is not powerful enough to win an election. And/or 2) That the party will take away votes from the underdog (assuming that you are one who doesn't want the incumbent back in) That fear of vote syphoning, combined with the view of impotence of the third party can cause voters to make decisions that will prevent the party from making a significant enough of a show that it can be considered by the majority to be a real contender...” 10:39:58 AM 1/20/04 Voting by Negative selection? “I wont vote for a DEM or Dubya. That leaves me with voting for a third party, not for what they believe in, but to make my vote count as a dissent vote, hopefully. I know people who voted for perot with this reasoning.” 10:40:11 AM 1/20/04 “Didn't the first GW warn us about political parties?” 10:41:25 AM 1/20/04 “I share Chili's statement about Clark. I might add that for me, Clark is like a 3rd party canidate running as a Dem. That situation is something that we might need. About throwing our votes away.....speaking as a person whose never voted for a Bush or Clinton, I could feel like I threw my vote away by voting for Ross, because nothing really ever came of that. The Reform Party went belly up after a while and then ya had Darth Nader during the last election. Now, my feeling about third party voting is two fold. First, I love that fact that in this country, you can voting pretty much for who you want. The thing I hate is that in two recent elections, the third party voting is what got the guy that I didn't want elected. So, the fact still remains that, as of today, a third party vote is a vote against who ever winds up loosing, if it's close.” 10:45:10 AM 1/20/04
