Loneliness is a malady of people who are not comfortable being by themselves, some people from this board have offered to meet up with you, you have declined thus chosing to be by yourself.

Being by yourself does not make a person lonely, a number of TT'ers chose to hike and camp solo, but you are self described as lonely and also refuse offers to change that condition.

Bored is a function of being unable to amuse yourself, guess the same refusal holds here also.

The Iron Horse in Northhampton, Mass is a nice music venue and about a 60-70 mile road trip from Bennington.

People from central Vermont sometimes go all the way to Saratoga Springs, NY to see live music.

Burlington has live music at The Flynn Theater and other places and there was a nice brew pub there ten years ago which may still be around.”
