I'm planning a little quality time with the squeeze over the spring break. T%he Alpine Club of Canada has an outing consisting of a week-end ski-touring out of a yurt. It's near Huntington, Vermont. Does anyone know anything about this?

Oh yeeeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhh! A TT trip with a yurt base camp. Now I'm REALLY horny. Please, someone, set it up. If I get to go there's a limit of twenty - ten per yurt - I'll bring back beta.

yep, I know it - the honeymooners defect this time of year as well. I know you're enjoying your move to NH skiracer! :)

gremlin, I'm interested if we could get enough people to split the cost of the yurt...

I'd really like to do this, and since trip planning is becoming my full time job, LOL, I may as well plan this one.

Some weekend in February, but not the weekend of the 14th or the 28th.

I'll know more when I get the info packet.

Anybody interested?

>eek!<
I was wondering if you'd catch that... :)

I thought I'd see how much interest there was and then pick a date - if a lot of the FYAO peeps are interested, we could do this the following weekend. I'd have to call in sick and/or chance not being able to go for two nights though.

So I guess I should put different dates on the trip page...

Good idea!

I would like to go, but I don't know.

What part of Vermont?

TomT (or MarkO) - I rec'd the info, and this place only rents the yurts on an exclusive basis, no per bunk rentals.

OK

So we would need to have at least a half dozen people to make a go of it, huh?
