Dubya went nuts and attacked a country that was no threat.

People are still getting killed... day in, day out... For Nothing.

awesome
Howard Stern set that speech to 2 soundtracks from AC/DC this morning.

One was TNT . . .the part of the song where they are chanting Oy Oy Oy Oy.

It was great.

At least the man is alive SmallSack . . .has a spark of some sort.

Dean would be a better canidate to me if that spoutting off meant something. He just comes accross to me as one of those guys ya see at the sports bar, smashed at 10:00 and ready to punch ya in the arm.

I like a little fire in a person, just not a bunch of smoke and hot air.

Well of course he is nuts! he is a old Democrat LOL.

A young Republican is a person with no heart.
A old Democrat is a person with no brain.

Manuka, that is a variation on a Winston Churchill statement, that went more like, "if you are not liberal when you are young, you don't have a heart. If you are not conservative when you are old, you don't have a head".

Since when was Winston Churchill the be-all and end-all anyway?

Yeah, I know... because he uttered that one phrase, Conservatives think he's Eric Clapton or something -------

Thanks Idaho Bob, heard it but no idea where, hence the inexact quote.

Winston Churchill huh! the guy who as first sea lord refused to warn the Lusitania that there was a Uboat sighted because it would bring America into the war. Uboat did sink the L with a loss of 1,201 lives but failed to bring America in. (US came in later)

Ignore my last post
It's just my ignorance coming out sometimes. I get mad and the blowhard in me just has to come out.
And I'm mad now because I know Howard Dean is finished now. His puffed up tough talk just reminds people that he is a lot like Bush. All hot air and no experience.

I think Edwards appears to be the most electable to me. Though I think the election will be decided more by events in the next ten months than what the candidates do.

Oh and tilt - you can slag Churchill off - not everything he did was so wonderful. Even the Brits kicked him out of office a year after the war. His second term wasn't so hot either.

Funny you should mention Eric Clapton and Churchill.

Churchill sent Ginger Baker's father and about 1000 other men on a suicide mission to some useless place like Crete.

And another thing. I've kept silent on this for a long time but I for one am tired of the coarse behavior exhibited by mapleleaf on this board. It's getting old. This was a better board when her and several of her friends were not here. And I'm not the only one to feel this way. It's come up repeatedly in private conversations.

The U.S. saved England after so many American business people, like Dubya's grandpappy, helped Hitler build his war machine.

France is a useless place full of mediocre wine and cheese, homely women and people who exercise poor hygiene in general. Other than that, it's not bad... ;-)

FG you are an ignorant ba$tard aren't you? Obviously you've never been to France. My guess is you prefer the fat hog women in the USA.Go to Wal-Mart today and just look around. It's pathetic. Then go to France and look at the women you see on the street, any street.
Better dressed, better looking, better read. Just plain better all the way around.
