Directions To Ocala 3 Trailhead

“Me and some others were discussing directions to Ocala at Savage the other day. Heck, I'll do a thread, and post a link at the trips page.

From Gainesville (I-75 southbound):
Exit at #387 in Gainesville - hwy 26.
Follow 26 East into town. Procede on 26 to 20 East toward Palatka.
Stay on 20 East for about 30 miles to Interlachen.
From Interlachen, turn South on 315.
Travel 3-4 miles to 310 near Kenwood. Turn left (East) on 310.
Travel about 8 miles to hwy 19 @ Rodman. Turn left (North) on 19.
Whoa! There's the lock!

From Ocala (I-75 northbound):
Hwy 40 East toward Ocala NF. Turn left (North) on hwy 315. Follow 315 for about 30 miles through Ft. McCoy, Orange Springs, then Kenwood. At Kenwood, turn right (East) on 310 to Rodman.

From Palatka (I-95 southbound):
Hwy 20 West to hwy 19 South to Rodman. Short drive.

From Ormond Beach (I-95 northbound):
Exit at Hwy 40. Turn West toward Ocala. Travel about 30 miles to Hwy 19 North. Travel hwy 19 North for about 30 miles to Rodman.”

She Coop and I went to a TMB Giants concert about 2 years ago. They played Don't Let's Start in the encore and we were going nuts along with the only other fan there over 30. All the crowd surfers in front (who were getting made fun of by the band - "isn't that a 90's thing?") were just sort of swaying to the song.”
