Well, one of my favorite "historical" books is Mountain Spirits, a history of alcohol and moonshine production and its place in US history. The second book, More Mountain Spirits, is a more hands-on manual detailing manufacture of a still and alcohol production, for educational purposes only.

I'm bored as hell too. I'm sitting in class right now surfing the net and ignoring the prof. God I love wireless internet.

photoguy, you can come over and read all my texts for me and then give me a detailed description of what they are about in 200 words or less so i know what to answer in class tomorrow. i only have about 40 pages left, so you'll have to leave now.

Punctuation, my friend.
By reading what you just wrote, I feel like I am now diagnosed with some sort of psychotic disorder.

LOL, just teasin.

Outdoor movies: Blair Witch Project 1 and 2, Deliverance (I never saw it, but I've heard nothing but good things about it and it's on my list to rent), Cabin Fever (I'm pretty sure that just came out on video the 20th. It was good but the ending sucked,.. they could have done a lot more with it), A River Runs Through It (haven't seen that one yet either), Jaws (a classic), then there's always The Great Outdoors.. haha that movie cracks me up.

Pay attention in class? What's that mean? I pay attention in class....to my computer. :-D

A River Runs Through It is good.
Deliverence will make you fear the sound of a banjo when you're out hiking.
Haven't seen Cabin Fever
Jaws is awesome.
Blair Witch Projects were funny

I haven't been bored...
You can always pack your backpack and throw it on the ole scale to releive that boredom. (winter pack weight btw)

Actually, I just packed mine today. I just bought and Osprey Aether 60 and the M harness doesn't fit...so I'm trying to decide if I like the L or XL one better.

Hey StoverStomper...
Mostly lurking for quite a while... but on a recent 3 day emergency buisness trip to Garden City Kansas I was so bored in the hotel room I finally registered and posted around here. The signal to noise ratio is still too low around here... but I think I've run out of sewing project and have nothing better to do ;)

DeoreDX - Kewl Beans.
Welcome to TT. It's a wild and wooly place but the people here get out and backpack together a lot. We talk about everything and sometimes backpacking. ;-)
If any of these nuts calls you a troll, just send them my way. I'll vouch for you.
Try and make a TT trip soon!
