Is it a coincidence that as a general rule, the higher the fuego post count the less likely that person is to actually hike? MarkO and SS are probably the exceptions to that rule. CB used to be the exception before he exported himself.

Case in point - i dont' even LOOK at the fuego threads.

I am one of those pack sniffers, but I enjoy living vicariously through you guys. I fell off the wagon recently and started feugoing, but I turned off the feugo button a week or so again. Now I limit myself to the feugo I find in the Last 10 Posters list on the right until I can wean myself completely.

Dayhiker-

I am in the process of hiking my career across the street. I am hoping the fall color is a nice shade of green.

What I meant is that MarkO, SS, and CB all hike a good bit AND post on fuego. I was singleing them out in a good way, or at least, that was the intent.

Apparently when HPM wears a tie it is a sign of the apocalypse.

Drastic times call for drastic measures. My usual feeling on ties is that I don't wear one to church, therefore, if it's good enough for God then it's good enough for whoever else is in the meeting. Sometimes you have a meeting with someone who thinks their God and I'll cave with a tie. That's rare though. Discretion is sometimes the better part of valor.

I have to come to Sarge's defense here. He's hyperventilating so badly he doesn't know who he's talking about or on which thread.

Now notice that I'm defending Sarge and not attacking him unprovoked. He gets so confused when he hyperventilates. Poor guy.

DH, my comment was to Sarge. It appears he is personally attacked so much that he automatically assumes everything is about him. He called Geo a spy for no reason.

My comment was not in seriousness anyway.

It's pretty tricky to post while hiking or backpacking. Therefore, it's generally safe to assume that if one is on TT all day, day in and day out, they aren't out hiking.

Wrong. Look at the elise forum, which you are referring to, and clearly you attacked me unprovoked. Why are you lying? Is it the best way you can generate a "safe" world for you to live in? Does reality scare you?

I like ties. Its the only place a Man is really allowed to express himself outside the standard (if you have any taste) suit/slacks& shirt.

I don't wear white shirts neither.

How does a person claim to know how much anyone hikes?  Not everyone is into self-promotion.

I suppose one could check the Injured Reserve thread to get a better idea, but that's about it.

I was thinking the same thing. I walk in the woods every day; is that a hike? Posting boring monologues just isn't for me either. I prefer to hike solo because if I can't hike with (you know who), I'm not hiking with anyone.
