I carry a broadsword. I realize that the weight is a serious issue, but if you have to slay a dragon, what use is a dinky folding knife?

Schrade has a nice knife called the simon. The model number is S11. It weighs one ounce. I have one and it is a good knife.

Dang Stik, you should be familiar with broadswords, slaying dragons and whatnot as you do. Or do you use a Swiss Army knife?

Gerber is my knife of choice and alot of there models can be found currently at Walmart although mine costs almost 100 bucks and the most expensive one I saw at Wallyworld tonight was about 60.00

I foud the Caribeaner knife at a shop this weekend while buying my wife an 8 inch Henkel chef knife.

I use a leatherman or a swiss army. the plyers have come in handy for repairs a couple times.

I carry the one of the gerber versions of the multi tool and have the sheath on the hip pad of my pack with a zip tie
