I love how the Sunday public affairs shows on the CBC will feature some crazed right wing American in a way that it seems like all Americans think that way.

Then for the entire interview, the commentator will ask pointed questions meant to make the interviewee look completely stupid. The interviewer will have these incredulous/smug looks on his/her face meant to emphasize the point that Americans are dumb.
