“Our patches arrived in today's mail. From the looks of the envelope, they had been mis-delivered. The envelope had been torn open and then stapled shut. I guess whoever got 'em first decided that they couldn't use them and put them back in their mailbox.

Anyway, they look great, Wolfeyes. Thank you very much for all your hard work.”

“I am so glad they finally got there, Fathergoose...I was wondering if I had actually sent them but then I do remember trying to spell that last name of yours in writing and that was the only time I would have spelled it...while filling out the envelope to send them! Glad they made it there safe.”

“Bit did you do anything special for waterproofing? Or anything else? Or did you just fire it on there?”

“I sealed the seams on the inside...didn't bother to waterproof the patches or anything like that.”

“What seam sealer did you use...thanks”

“The cheap liquid stuff that comes in a bottle...I think it's called "Seam Sealer 3" or something like that.

I'm not too worried about it, I use a pack cover in rain anyway.”

“Bit, can you come over and sew some patches on my scoutmaster uniform? My wife won't do it!”

“I bought my wife a sewing machine and sent her to classes, and I still have to sew stuff myself.

The sewing machine is so heavy, you know, and so hard to get out and put away...”
