Alps Mountaineering. I love my Alps gear. You too would love Alps gear if you weren't such elitist snobs. In fact, I'm so angry thinking about it that I'm punching holes in the wall. Alps Alps Alps Alps Alps Alps

StoveStomper, first other person on TT I've heard mention Snow Lion. When I returned to BPing in the late 70s after college, my first "real" BPing mummy was a Snow Lion with first generation PolarGuard. Still have it, though it's been a kid's sleepover bag for long while. Also had a Snow Lion down vest (think that's around somewhere in storage, too, maybe). Still have that first post-Boy Scouts pack, too, a forest green Wilderness Experience internal frame - the Backpacker model, for which I found the hang tag not too long ago (now that's a pack rat, lol) - and a bright blue WE day pack with leather bottom.
