Ever hiked to the headwaters of the Colorado River? I'm thinking of eventually doing a trip to Lulu City and heading on up to the Divide on the Colorado river trail. The Divide forms a box canyon like there. The Rockies turn North then West then South forming the box and the headwaters.”

If I plan it I'll drop you a line. I'm gonna be in Granby during June for a week. That is on the Southwest edge of RMNP. I'm gonna do some dayhikes with my kids and maybe an overnight. I'll try a find out more info while I'm there.

I like rivers. To quote Jimmy Buffett, "I live where the rivers meet the sea."

I want to see where each major river starts. Maybe drop a leaf in and watch it begin its trip to the sea.”
