I just got interviewed!

“A girl from the student newspaper(The PolyPost) just interviewed me for an article about hiking. She said she did a search on the university website and my web pages were all over the place.

She started out asking me about local places to hike during the spring break and what a person should know if they go on a hike.

Then she said, "Tell me about TrailTalk!" I had to tell her to stay away from TTers if she knew what was good for her. Just a bunch of no-accounts and malcontents who like to escape from reality. Anyway, she seemed to enjoy the interview. I will have to keep my eyes out for the article when it is published. Unfortunately, she has a lot of pictures to link if she wants to embarrass me!!!

Anyway, it was fun doing the interview.”

Once TT hits the mainstream conciousness, Janet's boob drama will seem like preschool story hour.

“I was interviewed in a grocery store parking lot by a reporter for a small newspaper in New Hampshire.

He was looking for some to talk about SPAM.

It was something like the 60th anniversary of SPAM.”

aero - when I first came to campus in 1982 the student newspaper was basically dominated by communists and/or left wing radicals. I haven't really monitored it in the past 20 years to see what has changed. Also, one of my former students who graduated about a year ago is signed up for the South-North Lake trip in July. She is cool (and may have been in cross country in HS...not sure).”
