Holy Vrap Is It UGLY Outside

“Just stepped outside to start the van and the driveway is covered with more water than I'm use to seeing.

It's been raining/sleeting ALL night and I can tell it's going to be one crazy wet and cold day at work. Ugh!”

“It's bad here too with a wintery mix of mostly sleet and freezing rain. I'm not looking forward to driving in this either.”

“I walked out the front door to warm up my jeep before work and nearly fell arse over teakettle on the ice. Everything was shiny under the fresh coating. I grumbled as I had already checked the updates and my employer (a local school district) hadnt called school due to inclemet weather. I head back in to eat real quick and the phone rings...Hey Joe the caller says, no work today dude. SNOW DAY!!!!!!!! okay technically its an inclement weather day, but the end result still rocks!”

“It changed from snow to rain/sleet about 6 am here. I guess that's what I have to look forward to on my drive home tonight. Should be fun.”

“Forecast here for today is snow, then freezing rain around noon, and then snow. Total snowfall is 3 to 6 inches. With the snow on top of ice, the drive home tonight is going to suck.”

“Freezing rain has changed over to rain in Philly as of 8 a.m. Roads are in pretty good shape. Some walks and parking lots are still icy, but it is breaking up easily.

I've had two snow days in the past five years and don't want to see another. When we get a snow day, there are three feet of snow to shovel out of the driveway.”

“BTW Buddur, what the hell is a vrap?”

“3-6 inches today and then another 3-6 overnight. There is a possibility of freezing rain/sleet sometime during this time. If we get rain or freezing rain, driving is going to suck.”

“that was a stressful walk to and from the metro! talk about ice. i'm just glad i didn't have to drive, ick.”

“Tell me about it! I'm doing Zeleski this weekend and I'm going to hang out here til about noon and let the rain peter out.”

“Storming in Ga. today. Maybe we'll have a tornado and the car will get washed.”

“in Nashville we had flooding all over the place yesterday. I guess you guys in the east are getting the storm today.”

“Got out on the trail yestarday and it was a sheet of ice! CRAP! The shlt just wasn't safe.”

“Its snowing and windy and wicked out...brrrrrrrrrr.”

“Just got back from an 3.5hr snowshoe extravaganza. My local stomping grounds take on a whole different personality when there's enough snow on the ground.”

“I should have headed north this weekend. I got an inch of snow last night and that just served to cover the ice so you couldn't even see where not to step.”

“LMAO!!!! Nigal, did you fall?”

“No, amazingly! I hopped a forest road for the walk back thinking it would be in better hsape but it was a sheet of glass. You should have seen my dog Honey running down the hills and trying to stop! LOL! She had a great time though.”
