anyhoo, how do you download an AVI file from the G5 to a computer? I was trying to do it with a card reader onto the iMac hard drive at work and it didn't show up, while the regular .jpg images did. I looked in the book and found nothing specific on how to do it in a quick look at the downloading section.

Does it have to do with the AV cable and needing to run it into the TV? Then again, I know you had taped something at Ocala and managed to download it and put it out for viewing. What'd ya do?

“Lowa Kibos all leather non-goretex. My feet have stayed dryer in these than any goretex boot I've ever had. I'm beginning to think goretex is just a gimmick.”

“Glad your boots were OK. I see they are sold at MAST (Waynesville and other WNC MAST stores.)

An on-line source lists them at $195. But their color/size selection does not identify any choice of width! Could this be correct? I have a wide foot. In shoes, 12EEE/ In boots, 13EE or 13 extra wide usually works OK.”

“I don't remember the width exactly but my problem is that my foot spreads from a 12 to a 12 3/4 while hiking. All my other boots were not giving my toes enough space hence blisters.”

“The one piece all leather construction of the Kibos rocks. My feet have never been dryer and my boots dry out just as fast after a deep stream crossing as my old goretex boots.

“I learned long ago to allow plenty of space for my toes. I'll check at the MAST store. But, I would require too long a boot to fit my width, if they only have D-width. A secondary problem is that my feet are different.”

“One of our Scouts has size 16 wide feet. His younger brother is already size 14 and still growing.”
