“I put in my request over a month ago and I haven't heard anything from my boss. I'll be there for the weekend at least but if I'm gonna fly down I wanna stay longer.”

“Orlando is where I should fly into, correct?”

“Its the closest big airport.”

“Yes HPM is correct, or you could fly into Sanford, it's smaller though so I don't know if you can rent a car right from there.

“Well the original plan is to hike from Grassy Pond to Juniper Rec Area.

So I figured we would meet at Juniper and those who want secured parking can park at Juniper and pay the piper and those who want free parking can be shuttlers and dive us up to grassy and park for free. Those who parked at Juniper can take the shuttle drivers back to their cars.

There was some discussion about hiking from Juniper to Grassy but personally I think hiking south and ending at Juniper is a better hike.”

“Since we all benefit, I'm in favor of everyone chipping in a little to cover the parking fees.”

“i reaally don't mind paying the $10.00 to have my car be alittle safer. we have even paid for camping sites so we can leave our car and not worry about it being broken into.”

“you would be better to fly into tampa than orlando. traffic over in orlando is always a mess. if you decide not to rent a car i may be able to pick you up on my way to ocala. i will probably leave thursday afternoon and go up and stay with my cousin that lives there. my daughter is suppose to be going with me but she has her state boards(rn) coming up. i drive a celicia but the hubby has an avalanche. not sure he will let me take it up there.”

Stupid thing is that the day use fee is like $5 or so.”
