In celebration of the stinkiness of Valentine's Day, I'm going out to a club tomm. night and shaking my booty on the dance floor! I've got no love to keep me warm so I might as well keep myself warm with some fun!

To all the couples out there - enjoy your stinkin' rotten V-day. :p

From the pictures I've seen of you, You look pretty damn good. You shouldn't have any trouble at least finding a temporary boyfriend to celebrate with.

No problem...

Ummm...schools going ok.

I have to squeeze a couple weeks of internship in somewhere in the spring. I'm hoping to help out at a local state park or something similar.

Then in May I graduate with 2 BS degrees and Danielle graduates with her Masters....

And then it looks like we might move to Colorado this summer???

Whats new with you? What are you up to now? You ever decide on where you were taking your next trip?

(I feel like I just wrote a letter to someone)

LOL! Yeah - except it's a public letter - so you wrote one to the whole board!

I didn't know the Mrs. was going for her Masters - very cool - what a smart couple you guys will be - you'll have to get a bigger home to hang all the degrees in! LOL Colorado - you have job lined up? What a beautiful to live!

Okay - we should all meet on a trip one of these days and catch up!

I'm finally back in school - I decided to pass on the last semester because I couldn't get my schedule lined up - but now I'm back - three classes with a full-time job - hoping to go full course schedule after this semester - will get a bit tricky with work (still trying to figure out how that's going to work out). Hey, the pre-calculus is my favorite this semester (wierd huh?)...

Anyway, my knee is a worthless piece of gear - and with the class schedule the way it is - looks like all I have time for right now are dayhikes on Saturdays and then eagerly anticipating the spring break and then the breaks between the two summer semesters.

Haven't settled on where to go for the spring break - now I'm thinking either Greece or the UK.

Miss backpacking.....

ohhhhh....I would go for Greece, especially the islands off the coast...

I worked for a guy that was Greek and he would always talk about the islands....

Maybe when the weather gets warmer we can plan a group Harriman daytrip?

My wife doesn't like Valentines Day, she thinks it is stupid and a conspiracy to sell, sell, sell. I'm a lucky guy.

Hang in there Twinks, somebody out there will realize what a fine catch you are.

oh yeah - a little trip to harriman would be very nice! yeah, greece sounds lovely - good mix of ancient history and warm beaches

Pathman - thanks - don't worry I'm not moping about - got school and work and travels to do - plus I'm enjoying taking the time to develop different aspects of myself that always got pushed to the side because of dancing, boyfriends, lack of money, etc...just get a bit lonely for romantic company at times (get yer minds outta the gutter) :)

I see there are still a few romantics out there... no surprise to see a few non-believers... divorces, loneliness, nasty break-ups, "ex-" hassles... no wonder you're negative... but, for thoise of us who DO believe, who DO participate, and enjoy... at lest allow them their happiness, if even for just a moment.

And, for those of you who relish the opportunities, and seek them out, Sweetest Day is in October... I know I'LL be looking forward to it...

Twinks, nothing spells out being single as when you go to a club on Valentines Day, so I think it's a good thing for your. On other days, there are a lot of married men that just want to go to a club with their men friends, so the higher ratio of single men out on Valentines Day will be higher.

So what you're saying lh... now tell me if I'm reading this correctly... is to go to the bars on V-day because all the desperate women will be out man hunting? I'm so there! :D

Oh I am SO printing that off and giving it to my wife! I really want to do womething special this year for my wife. We've been married for 15 years so these greating card holidays don't mean as much any more so I thought I'd surprise her with something really romantic. Of course me being me; the first thing that came to mind is a nice place to eat. LOL! I'm kind of stumped passed this thought.

My wife gave me the best possible Valentine's Day present already this year.

She told me I didn't have to get her anything for Valentine's day.

DeoreDX, let's just call women out of VD day "available", and why not take advantage of higher ratio of single men as opposed to married men on other given days?

Doesn't anyone use match.com or other internet matching services? My sister's friend met a nice guy and married him from match.com. A search of your general area should give you 50-1,000 men to choose from. Yahoo personals even tell you how much money they make.

bit, about the money issue? I believe you can love a rich man the same as a poor man, but if you like to travel and do things where money is required, you are entitled to want to lead that life style, even if you pay your way, and you just need the man to have enough money to go with you or pay his way.

Also, if you want to be lavished in gifts or have an extravagent lifestyle, you are entitled, male or female to seek out that individual as long as you love them and are sincere.
