“The clouds were rolling in, so we grabbed our raingear and through it in our packs. We hoped to make it to Chapman Peak. Also known as Timber Peak. The upper elevations looked icy and cold. So we figured we would go as far as we could safely. The trip report is with the pictures. http://community.webshots.com/user/wld257” 5:33:49 PM 2/15/04 “Great pictures and good report.I like the picture of the spring thats cool! 8)” 5:43:56 PM 2/15/04 “Link Nice! Thanks! I've been to Icehouse Saddle several times, but never took that trail. Icehouse is a butt-kicker with a full pack on.” 7:40:26 PM 2/15/04 “Your photos pick up on the change in demeanor in your hiking partner. Pre and post summit confidence shines through. Gets me thinking. There are some of those photos from other outings that even after you're whipped by a hard day's work, you're the better for it when you get back. Sometimes. Looks like you had a great time. 8)” 11:49:27 PM 2/15/04 “GREAT pics and captions....thanks for sharing!!!!!” 12:07:04 AM 2/16/04
