as some of you know, last year I was told that I had a liver condition. It was not good news. So I started this treatment that was very rough on me as well as my family. But they stood by me and never left my side.
It was the hardest thing i have ever had to go through and it lasted 6 months. 6 months of feeling like you have the flu was no fun at all.
When i was done with the treatment my doctor told me the meds did not work. I was heartbroken.
Last week i went to the doctors because i was so sick, thinking it had to do with my liver.
well he gave me news that i never expected.

It seems that the meds did work and that they just took a very long time to kick in.
so now i had a test done to see if the condition has gone all away.

so in light of how this week has been here on trail talk, I decided to share this little bit of good news to my friends here.

Yes, but we have to filter all the alcohol through a cow's liver first. That way, she can tell everyone it's milk!

Got to admit that was funny. When we moved to SI, I was on the phone with GEICO and they reduced our Brooklyn rates significantly. Maple called on the other line and I told her I was talking to GEICO. I called her back 5 minutes later and she says, "what's up?" Before I could say we saved money... , we both started cracking up because we knew what was next. Timing of the moment type thing, I guess...
