“heh, heh. I had a gun pulled on me outside the Wax Museum. We were out back breaking down boxes for the trash, guy came running around the corner. He was startled when he saw us and pulled a gun. When he realized we were just a couple of white kids cutting up boxes, he stuffed it back in his pants and kept running. Winos used to always come in during slow times and fall asleep. I still remember Max the manager with a thick Czech accent rousting them out.”

I live a few miles from Timonium in Towson and I don't know of Gibbies.

I learned to crawl under my school desk in the event of a nuclear attack. They didn't teach us how to kiss our asses goodbye. Cub Scout trips to the local Civil Defense shelter where we they showed us Geiger Counters, food and water stores. I never understood how we would get there.”

May '73 was my first little backing trip.”

Sorry, MP! I just caught up with the threads as it was a busy weekend. We went eagle and owl spotting upstate NY this weekend and I haven't caught up with this since Friday. The situation is as follows: Last year, I drove down with one of my best friends to Phoenix for a X-country jaunt as he was taking a professorship at ASU.
Mple and the kids are very fond of him too. So, we were planning to visit him and stay at his house for the week. Now, in and around that we were looking to get together with some TTer's also. I had discussed this with Pathman and we were trying to putsomething together that would work for all of us. There really is no 'cohesive' plan yet, by any means. But, the reality of it happening is pretty positive. I would love for all of us to get together and Maple and I would love to meet you. What part of AZ are you in? I will be sure to update when we start to carve the plans in stone.”
