“twinks,... i'm heading up to the treehouse on fri night after work.. we're leaving early saturday morning to meet at the visitor's center with anyone else who may be joining us (prob meeting at 9am-ish or so).

“I will - just don't want to drag a full pack to work - I'll head over to the Tree's around 7 or 8pm (if that's cool with them?) who knows? its over a week away and I have my first test on Tuesday

“My suggestion....if you're planning to meet at the visitors centre...then hike the Batsto Trail to the Lower Forge backcountry camping area....Sunday you can either return from whence you came or if you spot a car at Carranza Memorial thru hike it to shuttle vehicle

BTW...in case ya'll haven't been to the Barrens...it's not loaded with grand vistas and sweeping landscapes and challenging mountains....or even cascading waterfalls....it's flat, sandy and loaded with dense scrub pine....”
