FB2 hits the stage!!!
We finally played in front of a crowd this weekend after 17 years.
We had a blast. About 50+ people showed up to hear some of our music.
We started off a bit rough with some technecal problems but were soon (kinda) fixed. Most of the night we struggeled with tech problems but we delt with them as best we could and did our best to ROCK the crowd.
Among the TT gang, Yam, Ewker, & Trekkngirl showed up to give us support. Thanks a bunch Yall!!!!!
We've already had several people want us to do another show.

....And no, I wasn't wearing Spandex.

Groupie #1 signing in.

The show was great!! Walkindude was fun to watch, he really gets into it. I thought the band sounded good, too, despite some of the technical problems.

ROCK ON DUDE!! Let us know when your next gig is.

hey Lizs, the glasses make me look (deceptively) brainy, don't they?!

MDK factor for brain cells were pretty high! Loads of DRUNK people there.

Yam, I didn't think we'd ever get you to keep that guitar on you long enough to get those pictures. LOL!!

Trekkngirl, Sorry you had to leave so soon. :(
Did you get to hear us play Blood Sucking Bich? That one probably kicked more ass than any other tune we did.

We're going to be checking on when the next time we'd be able to play would be. I'll keep everyone posted.

I can't get into Webshots to see the pics but it sounds like a great success. I bet 16 Tons knocked them dead.

Actually we didn't get a chance to play "16 Tons". Bill is still kinda recovering from the problems he's had since his lung transplant. He ran outta steam before we could do all the songs we planned to do.
We did do our version of Burning "Ring of Fire" though. Several people really dug that one. All the other tunes we did were our own tunes.

It felt real good to hear everyone clapping and cheering after each tune.

I even busted into a guitar solo after one song. It fukin RIPPED! :)

Yall even sound like a resurected 80's band - your singer had a lung transplant! WOW!

I'm just teasin, I didn't know he'd gone through that.

gonna go check the pics now!

hey, so when will the live album be released???

Bill had his Double Lung Transplant exactly 11 months ago from the show date.
Pretty cool huh?

I'm not sure about any live stuff yet. We actually got it video taped but I don't know what the sound is like yet. If it's good enough quality then maybe we'll put some of it on a CD.

I Promise I'll post the next time we get out to play somewhere. I just told some of the more local TTers.

Tara, Can't wait to see ya!!

StoveStomper, You should have seen the woman up there tugging on my shorts while I was trying to play a solo. This woman was soooo drunk. Susan thought it was hysterical. That's one thing I love about her. She's not got a jealous bone in her body.

Q, I really thought I'd be kinda nervous but I wasn't. I couldn't wait to get up there. It felt good! I actually had to calm myself down some so I could concentrate on my playing. I was a bit too hyper at times. LOL!!

It was deffinatly a (re)learning experience. We had some gear malfunctions and we know how to correct them before the next time we play out again.
One problem was the stage moniter sucked! We couldn't hear ourselves very well and it caused us to mess up a few times (nobody seemed to notice). When we turned it up louder, I was feeding back BAD. Last night I ordered 2 new floor moniters that will handle the job just fine.
