Found One!!
Hey, I bought a Golite Speed pack today, size large, on E-bay for $80 including shipping and no sales tax!!

What other deals have you TT-ers found on e-bay??

They have some reputable dealers on there as well.

I like not having to pay the 8.25% sales tax that Texas has at all the REI stores..plus the gas to drive 100 + miles to get to an REI store!

This E-bay thing could get addicting!

eBay rocks. I've made a small fortune there...never do buy gear there though.

ebay is pretty cool. I did spend $145 on a North Face Gore-tex SUMMIT SERIES XCR Jacket. Hmm, I think it's big bad fake, so I am not real happy.

Sounds like a good score there Tex! Lightening up that load really helps the knees!

You know it!
Gforce, I know what you mean and the gear is part of it..the body weight is the other part I will get to work on once I recover from the surgery.

and then there is the alcohol/Heet stoves...lots of good ideas off that last Ocala hike!

I bought plastic Mountaineering boots of E-bay, some camera lenses for older Nikons, and some tubular webbing for climbing. all good buys.

Now I have to sell something that Gemini wants so I can get an opportunity to phuck her.
