Never heard him, but the glut of poor imitation shock jocks got old a long time ago...

Those clowns don't serve the public interest.

Oh yeah, the FCC has been gelded by the industry.

So far, in this poll, German women are two-for-two in liking the Howard Stern show...

Bubba's voice alone annoyed the living crap out of me."

Not only his voice but the way he sucked in a breath of air in the mic.

He was on the air here for a while, said he was going to knock Stern off the air but got cancelled do to low ratings. People got tired quick of everyone being called ***hole and b**ch.

I actually tried to listen during commercials on the other station but couldn't. The commercials were better.

They all say that they are going to knock Stern off the air.

Knock-off is more like it.

He was a poor copy, but in the end, he may have. I think it's more the lawsuit and proposed fine against Bubba than Janet that caused Clear Channel to go that route.

There were a couple of local lawsuits firing up over Bubba the love sponge here. This garbage was on first thing in the morning, and the station frequently let a lot of profanity go through. It was disgusting.

It's a business and a business has no choice but to follow the money. If a low-rated hack costs you money you fire him and move on.

I don't like what they done, but it's hard for me to get worked up over Howard. He should have been dumped, but for other reasons and long ago.

So was it obscenity or politics?

I might be taken off all the stations very soon, and my last words to you are 'G.W.B.,' " Stern told listeners yesterday.

"Get him out of office. I'm tellin' you, man, he's in dangerous territory [with] a religious agenda and you gotta vote him out - anyone but Bush," Stern railed.

Heehee! Yeah, it's Bush's fault he can't stay within the FCC guidelines.

Look, it's raining outside. That must be Dubya's fault too...somehow.

With Clear Channel's fist so far up GWB's @$$, it's just posturing on its part. The Clear Channel boss has funneled so much money to Bush and his other so-called "conservative" cronies, that it is just a matter of running for cover so Dubya doesn't look too foolish just before the election.

Clear Channel gets to consolidate its media holdings, which is ultimately the real obscenity we have shoved in our faces, and then turns around and "cleans" house of anyone offensive to its political base, such as those pesky Dixie Chicks.
