1. A good portion of Nader supporters will not vote, so the Dems still will not get their vote.

2. Believe it or not, there is a good portion of Nader supporters that typically consider themselves Republicans. Oops, now they're voting for the opposition.

3. Me. Yes, I am an angry fool that will vote for Bush for no other reason than to prove to the Democratic party that they will not get my vote by default just because my candidate is no longer on the ballot.

“Silent J - Understand the fact that the Republican party proped up Nader in many states. Yes, this means that they put him *in the middle* shall we say in this whole thing. The only reason this ballot thing is even an issue, is that the Republican were hoping to draw Dem votes away from the Dems ans to Nader.

Now, Nader has always fought *the man*, shall we say. We fought against big business and made great strides for consumer protection against *da man*. Now, *da man* proped him up, or shall I say *used him* for thier means. I call that a nice little "phuck me? No buddy, phuck you" by the exact people he opposed and fought against. The reason Nader is THE biggest hyprocrtie outta all these guys -- he accepted there help to get on the ballot. Yep, big business was trying to put the very man who fought against them on the ballot and he accepted it.


Now, any respect I ever had for Nader and the Naderites has went right down the tubes over this. Also, I might add that this would be a non-issue if Nader didn't chit on the Greens.

So, Silent J, go ahead and vote for Bush because that was what you were doing in the first place by voeting for Nader. The Repubs would be gettin` your vote, by proxy. The Dems were trying to keep him off the ballot in part because the intendition was not true, it was to misslead people, which is part of the Republican platform.”

I realize, such as the conversation that I had with pros earlier, some people make their opinions based on limited information. I am just trying to make Silent a *well rounded*, or *better informed* voter by knowing all of the facts about the piece of buffalo turd, I mean candidate, that he's voting fer.

But he is right that you should write in Nader, vote for the person you want to be President regardless of whether or not he's on the ballot, Bush only needs votes of those who support him and if the latest polls are any indication that's going to be more than enough to win Ohio. “Come on people! Read up on your election laws. You have to submit a declaration of intent within 50 days of the election to be considered a write-in candidate. Not to mention, you cannot be denied ballot access and then try and circumvent the decision by sneaking onto the ballot another way. It's the lame reason the Dem's got him off the ballot in PA because he had been affiliated with the Greens and they claimed he was trying to skirt the fact he was not on the ballot as a Green by running without the party affiliation. It's dirty tricks and they are undermining our right to choose. The sad part is that nobody seems to care. Hey, was it okay that Bush stole the election in 2000? Hell no. So why all of the sudden is it okay for the Dems to try and undermine the election process?

Their logic dictates that my liberal views will bring another Kerry vote if Nader is not on the ballot. Well, I've heard Kerry bash the No Child Left Behind policy but his web site says we should hold schools to those very standards. flip.

He says he's going to provide everybody with affordable (yeah, define affordable) health care while the military continues to suck 200 billion from the budget every year. Oh, wait, he actually thinks we need to pump more into the military in the name of national security. I don't think you should anticipate that government health coverage any time soon. flop.

He thinks the war was wrong even though he was not just in favor of it but an avid supporter. flip.

Yes, he says Bush lied to him but that only makes it worse. You are for or against war in general in my book and Kerry has made that bed. Unfortunately it's not the bed he chose after Vietnam. flop.

Kerry's going to increase military funding and provide "affordable" health care for everybody while cutting taxes as well. Don't forget that this miracle will be topped off by him cutting the deficit in half. flip flop flip flop .... It's seems to me that I have to choose from the candidate who's full of poo and the candidate who's full of poop. Might as well screw the party that screwed me last (I'm sure they're just taking turns at this point).”
