Reading is a total baseball town. They love their minor league team.

I owned the Reading Railroad a few times.

I can't seem to hack it in this town. Need some fresh air.

No, I'm not really from Reading. Farther East...

We called in "Scorched Land"!

Reading and Philadelphia are part of the same supernova called the Delaware Valley nowadays.

Reading is the exact same distance from Shenandoah that the Smoky NP was Nashivlle, 215 miles (3 hour drive). So I will be able to get down there no problem. Hell, may even be able to get there faster than I can coming from DC.

Fresh air in Reading? How close are you to Newark now?

that is more than 115 miles away. Plus the wind blows west to east.

For EarthNsky/Nashvillehiker
ARTIST: The Allman Brothers
TITLE: Ramblin' Man

{Refrain}
Lord, I was born a ramblin' man
Trying to make a living and doing the best I can
When it's time for leaving, I hope you'll understand
That I was born a rambling man

My father was a gambler down in Georgia
He wound up on the wrong end of a gun
And I was born in the back seat of a Greyhound bus
Rolling down highway forty-one

{Refrain}

I'm on my way to New Orleans this morning
Leaving out of Nashville, Tennessee
They're always having a good time down on the bayou, Lord
Them delta women think the world of me

{Refrain}

Good luck
I've turned down several promotion opportunities to DC. I just can't see myself living in DC.

Sorry. How close are you to Ohio? Beltways a cake walk once you get the hang of it and increase your aggressive behavior skills.

I teach a course called: "Aggressive Driving, The Best Defense!"

Did ya get a job up there?

It's a tough town. More than I bargained for.

Yes get an SUV and learn how to put the pedal to the floor, the beltway will be a whole lot easier on you then.

Your gonna break my record of 3 states in a 12 month period?

(even though DC isn't a state)

If I ever move to DC I'm buying one of these.

Until the snow hits, then he's one of a dozen flipped SUV's I drive by on the way to work.

Roam - I think he lived in MD proper so he may beat your record.

LZ - methinks they would nuke your ass & ask questions later if you showed up in that!

Reading, the city itself has dirty qualities. It has nice parts too. My sister lives in the city and has a very nice house. Me, I'd be moving to the burbs.

that's what I need Lz. A big tank. If you don't get out of my way, I'll just drive over top of you. I bet they don't get good gas mileage though and in DC the prices are still hovering around 2 bucks.

...And so is Trenton -- albeit in another state, but part of the Delaware Valley nonetheless. Welcome to the club. Hey, just think of it this way: you'll be that much closer to the Adirondacks...
