“Twig: Just get a really hot fire going, get flames a good 3 foot high, then place the cans into the coals. If you have a hot enough fire, the cans will melt into slag.”

I was introduced to burning cans in the fire on the Buffalo National River trip trip, Dec. 2002, in Arkansas. You should have seen my eyes widen as Stratdewd threw cans into the fire -- AND THEY BURNED!!!

“Also... I am reminded since I just posted to the geocaching thread... Remember I mentioned a geoacache on top of the hill, near the bluff overlook?

I read on www.geogaching.com that on that same day -- SATURDAY -- a group of Boy Scouts hiked the trail up the bluff to find it. Gosh sakes alive (thank goodness!!) we missed them!!!!!

Wonder if they were with the SUV people that matahari skeered away from Brown's Hollow??? LOL!

In their post, they said they stayed Saturday night at Heffern. I wonder how our poor new friend M*** did, if indeed he stayed there???!

I wrote a column about this trip, well, part 1, and I made a *BAD* boo-boo that no one caught. LMAO! You're involved in it!!! ;-P

I was reading the column in the paper at lunch today and literally almost spit out my food and went, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!" Luckily, no one seemed too surprised by this reaction from me.
