“I think even last minute plans will work on this one. Its real close to Sacramento. Lets just say we'll meet at the chalet parking lot and choose a trail then. If you need my cell no. again just e-mail me and I'll give it to whoever wants it. No more middle of the night mistakes from wannabp though.8) JK.”

“Sounds wonderful and we can be a maybe. Jerry hurt his rotater cuff almost two months ago and it hasn't gotten any better so today he gets a cortisone shot into the joint. The physical therapist told him that 1/3 of people are instantly better and another 1/2 are better in a week. Send him good thoughts, okay?”

“Ok for the maybe's. How does 11:00 am sound to meet in the chalet parking lot as per the directions on the web site given?”

“Anyone want to meet in Sacto and drive up together? Phadrus? Poor Jerry - that shot can't feel good. I hope it works. And I hope you can both make it up for the day! Put me down as a strong maybe.”

“I have to swing thru Sacramento(or Folsom) on my way to hwy. 50. Lets see if we can't car pool from a spot in town. I have an extended cab p/u. Just two wheel drive though but it holds six and gear in the back.
Wannabp....how is Jerry doing. I'm probably not too far off from the time of needing those shots too.Right now I just live with it but it can only get worse. Hope you can come and maybe join in a car pool too.”

“Thanks for the positive thoughts. Jerry definitely felt better after the shot (not during.....). Part of it was the Novacaine working. Today, he's hurting, but still has way improved range of motion in his arm. The doctor said give it 5-6 days to see what the final result will be, so we're going be in the maybe space until the weekend.”

“Maybe we can meet in Sacto for breakfast and drive up in as few vehicles as possible. Could we make it to Sac by 9ish? We could go pretty far east to help out Phadrus and wanderer. Wannabp - would you and Jerry want to crash Saturday night? That could save you a some time in the morning.”

“Thanks, Pepper. Right now, I'm thinking it would be wonderful to go up to Lake Tahoe on Friday and stay in funky Kings Beach then come back by way of Loon Lake.”

“That sounds like a perfect way to recover from a cortisone shot!! The weather is supposed to be clear for the weekend - of course it was supposed to be clear today and it was cloudy and sprinkled for much of the day.”

“Jvz, if you cut through Folsom to get to 50 you will be going right pass me. Maybe I could catch a ride with you or Pepperdog.”

Hikerchik..no rush on the picture but sorry you can't get out and use those snowshoes. I'm trying out my new Tubbs after I had to take the MSR's back.”

“What happened with the MSR's?”

“The attachable wings wouldn't stay on. I showed the guy at REI (hey that rhymes)that the screw down wouldn't sit in its groove properly. Looking from the botton that flap was all the way in and couldn't go any further so on top the screw wouldn't seat. Hence the wings just broke off in powder. I just like the big Tubbs look too. Bigger is better.”

“Hmm... Too bad! I really like my MSR's.”

“And I caught them on the Winter Clearance Sale. Now what to do with my $87.00 dividend. No problem.”

“I don't see any indication that we're meeting someplace to carpool. Anybody still want to do that?”

“Hey Guys, I am going to pss on this Sundays Snoeshoe hike. Not feeling very well and with the meds I'm on I don't want to make it worse. But, I bought some snoeshoes today at REI and really want to use them so let's plan another one. I will miss you. Theresa”
