“Last year I did a little experiment. All the Junk Eamil I was getting had a link where if you submit your Email address that it would (supposedly) be removed from their mailing list. What a crock of chit.

I have 3 Email addresses...One for friends and family, another for people like you, lol, and a third for doing internet purchases, etc. Well, one of them was the Eaddress that I did clikc those links and added my Eaddress to be removed from mailings. The other two I just deleated the messages and did not respond.

Well, to make a long story short, The Email address that I submitted my Eaddress for removal is the one that get a TREMENDOUS amount of spam over the other two addresses. I mean, it is unreal how much more I get compared to the other two. Today that mailbox had 22 spam messages while the other two didn't have ANY.

So everyone take note because there's a lesson to be learned here.”

“Spammers use those "remove" links to verify that your email addy is still valid.”

“I just hit the delete button. Fortunately my junk mail filter catches most of the spam I get.”
