I think that's where my coffee adiction started, in WA.

Pictures, pictures please!! ASAP. Lots of those names sounded so familiar. I miss that state. wish we would've never moved.

We went to the Hoh Rain Forest for a hike (in the rain!)

Well, it's a rain forest. You were expecting snow?

So, how wired did you get on the coffee?

Ahhh, yummm! Just got back from lunch and had my first Philly cheesesteak in over a week!

We were just "alittle" wired from all the coffee. The irony was that we came home last night to a broken coffee machine at home and I didn't have my first cup until I got to work. I had the shakes driving in!

Sounds like a good trip! You made it to a lot of great places. Did you make it to Rialto Beach opposite side of the river from La Push?

Sounds pretty cool...

If I would have known you were going to be in Port Angeles I could of told you about a really Chinese Restaraunt there! I think they have coffee there too!

Where are the damn pictures?

As much as I like the stuff, I dunno if I could drink coffee with Chinese food. We actually stopped for lunch in Sequim and I had a big old plate of ribs. We pretty much drove right through Port Angeles so we could spend our time on Hurricaine Ridge.

USA - We didn't get to Rialto beach, although a number of local folks we talked to suggested Rialto as one of the best beach spots to go to for swimming and wind?surfing (I think that's what they said!)

April has been so clear and sunny. You must been out here the only cloudy days we've had in April. Today, again 70 and sunny. Maybe next time....

Seattle Metropolitan Area
Today: Sunny. Highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s. Light wind becoming north around 10 mph this afternoon.
Tonight: Clear. Lows in the 40s. North wind around 10 mph in the evening becoming light.
Friday: Sunny. Highs in the 70s. Light wind becoming northeast around 10 mph in the afternoon.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid to upper 70s. Southeast wind around 10 mph.
Sunday: Mostly sunny. Partly cloudy on the coast in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

Weather Summary: Sunny and warm for the rest of April! Well, that only means Friday, but May starts us off on the same great note with more sunshine for Saturday and Sunday. This April, by the way, has had as many days in the 70s and 80s as the last 7 Aprils combined. Perhaps May will be just as extraordinary.

Capn Bobo, glad you enjoyed your trip here (WA). Don't let on how nice it is here. Remember to tell your friends about all the rain, lol.

Great ribs at Rockbottom Restaurant.

Just came from camping on the coast with strider two weeks ago. I was just on Widbey at Ebey State Park camping this past week.

Maybe if we all ask nice, we can get strider to give his trip report of his stay on the coast. It's absolutely amazing, and so funny, he broke up over it.

OH Yeah,
The RAIN was horrible!!!

You lucky dawg! Hey lipstick_hiker, you can bet your Harley side-saddles that Washington is the SCHNIZZIT!!!!!!
Oh geez, I was just camping on the coast and camping out on Whidey Island, ho hum! {yah!}

I'm looking forward to hearing all about strider's adventure, I do hope he posts a trip report. He was getting psyched up for it as I was chatting with him while searching for Rainier in the clouds. I believe that he said this is his annual 2-week? hike along the coast.

Oh Man! I told the wife that the 7 year plan is in effect. If I can find some nut-job to hire me out there, I am really really gone!

Believe it or not, the best meal I had all week was at the Rock Bottom. I had the big tub of shrimp, huge mushroom/swiss burger, and they had some excellent home brew on tap. I think it was the pale ale, I forgot, it was that good. I never really got my seafood fix after seeing thos huge lobsters and crabs at the Pike Place Market. I had Sushi one night, but that was about it for the fish... gotta find some fish around here real soon...

Capn Bobo, my hubby salivates over the huge mega shrimp at the Pike Market.

I don't mean to ho humm you again but, when hubby wants dungeness crab, he doesn't get them from the market. He just goes 5 minutes from the house down to the water (Puget Sound) & throws his zodiac in the water & pulls up his crab pot full of them.

Think real hard about finding employment out here, lol.

strider, will you ever give a trip report of our time on the coast?

Olympic Trail
I'll be in Washington from July 5-12 and would like to travel on part of the Wilderness Coast Trail. Any opinions I places that I must see, favorite section of trail, etc.? This will be my first visit to the wilderness of Washington.
