because, forgive me if im jumping to conclusions here, but im left with the impression that those who are snotty to you on an internet message board deserve tragedy, misery, and pain. or maybe you had a foresight of prosecutor being banned by rodale, but as we know, seeing the future is always a fuzzy proposition, and you thought it was ped who got banned and not pross. help us out here, bro. im really trying to set the record straight

Trust me, it's him. Nowslimmer called it, Nigal comfirmed it.

bacpac is a simple person. He has nothing going on in his life than:

Bailing on trips

Trolling

This is the deal. He's an addict. Self admitted addict. He has replaced all of the former abuses with trolling on TT. He gets off on it. It satifys his cravings. The more you give him, no matter how small the response, he wants more and will continue until his belly is full.

You guys haven't been around the whole weekend, so yer "fresh meat to the lion". He's been hangin' around here after he bail on his trip, a pokin' and a prodin', waiting fer something to happen. Ya came home and gave him the "fix".

Leave him alone, he ain't hip anymore. Th "jig" is up. Leave him be.

In the old economy, it was widely accepted that if unemployment got below 6%, we would have inflation. There were structural changes in our economy that came with technology. Clinton’s economic team proved that things had changed and the economy might have done even better if the Fed had realized that the rules had changed and not feared inflation when unemployment fell. The Fed’s charter still calls for them to focus on inflation AND employment although a number of Republicans in Congress tried to get that inconvenient employment business removed in the 90’s.

Inflation eventually fell under 4% with no inflationary pressures. Those percentage figures represent a huge loss to our economy and private suffering in millions of lives. The lives of real people are too important to discount by playing apple and orange games with incomparable data.

In the 1980 economy, it would be low. In the 2004 economy, it is high and represents a huge waste of economic potential and human suffering.

I'm still mulling over this thread's title. Does the media have a mind? I doan theenk so.

I think the overwhelming majority of the media does have a collective motive, however: CASH, Daddy-O!

Whatever they can sell you.... they will. And we all know it. Filter the news through *that* lense and what do you see?

Excerpted from

1.6 million Americans... have dropped out of U.S. workforce in the past year. The percentage of those working or looking for jobs has skidded for four years and fell in February to 65.9 percent, a 16-year low, the Labor Department said Friday in Washington. Last month, 588,000 people left the labor force as the economy created just 21,000 jobs, a sixth of the median forecast in a Bloomberg News survey of 65 economists.

<snip>
The exodus of workers from the labor force may mean the nation's unemployment rate of 5.6 percent in the past two months looks better than it really is. Returning discouraged workers to the labor market and adjusting the participation rate back to the long-term trend would increase the unemployment rate last month to 7.1 percent, said Ian Morris, chief U.S. economist at HSBC Securities USA Inc. in New York, in an interview Friday.

``The unemployment rate is really understating the lack of job availability,'' said Harry Holzer, a former chief economist at the Labor Department who is now a professor of public policy at Georgetown University in Washington, in an interview Friday. ``The drop in the participation rate is telling us that the labor market is weak.''

i thought this thread was about the overwhelmingly liberal media today.

NINE TO ONE DEMOCRATS

it's the fact, i did not make it up, i am correct and ya'll aer wrong. if you had any integrity you would admit that you are either stupid or at least intelectually dishonest.

refute the fact that the media is composed of democrats over repubs 9-1.

9-1

9-1

please try to hold the childish insults adress my point which is ;

the media is in fact full of liberals with a NINE TO ONE margin.

wonder if you high-n-mighty progressives can grasp the concept that i'm trying to get across....

they ARE liberals....no ifs ands or buts about it. liberals.
