Snowshoe report
TrailBum already mentioned this area once before but it merits a repeat. I was up there yesterday in beautiful spring like conditions. The chalet area has parking around it for maybe 25 cars(est.). The inside upstairs warming room is open to the public on weekends untill 4 pm. Its also rentable for staying over but hard to get I understand. Several choices for trails and igloo sites. I really enjoyed the weather and the road was clear but I sure hate to see if winter is gone already as I'm just getting into this snowshoeing stuff.

hey jvz! I'm glad you had a nice time. Did you go alone? I'll have to make it up there someday. Sorry I missed ya!

Yea I ended up by myself as everyones plans changed. Not to be put off I still had to try out my new Tubbs. They do the trick for me. This Spring weather is great but I think if it keeps up the snow up there will last a while anyway. Maybe we can get out as a group once more before its all gone.

Yes, quite possibly! Actually I would love to get out one more time for a snowcamping trip.
