A couple of wonderings

“Is it possible to sleep with your eyes open? If you duct tape your eyes open would you eventually fall asleep?

Why do they call the North Pole the top of the world? How do they know it's the top? Maybe it's the bottom and all our maps are upside down.”

“Uh, one of our players (Ormstown Saracens Rugby Football Club) would pass out with his eyes wide open after a few hours at the post match pi$$-up. It was the spookiest thing you ever saw, his gaze would follow you like those wierd paintings that follow you round the room.”

“Do you think they bother to swab the arm with alcohol before lethal injection?

If so, does my tax money pay for those alcohol preps?

And why would they need to use a new needle for every injection?”

“1) yes, they have to,.. it's standard medical procedure... sanitary.

2) most likely since they have their own doctor's at prisons.

3) because bacteria builds up and if the person giving the needle gets poked somehow, they could be in danger.”
