My e mail accounts at Yahoo have become so infected and screwed up I'm dumping them. What other e mail services are out there? I'm not using Hotmail as they suck SO bad!

The spam has gone down lately on Hotmail. They also introduced a junk mail filter which works pretty well.

I like my email.com account, mostly because it's easy for people to remember but its also pretty spam free. The pop-up ads drive me crazy though and if you block them, you can't log in to your account.

I agree with V. Wow that’s scary. About 6 months ago I would get between 15 to 20 pieces of spam a day on my hotmail account. Now I get about 2 or 3 a day on the same account and most of them go into my junk mail folder.

I got an account at Care2.com. It's got the features I want like spam filter, 6-11MB storage, plus 15% of all their revenues (not just profit) goes to environmental causes. And best of all I got the easiest address in the world to rember...Nigal@Care2.com. If I can't remember that I'm too stupid to use e mail. LOL!

Speaking of yahoo e-mail, I've been wondering about this. For probably the pas 2 to 3 weeks, whenever I go into my yahoo mail on my home computer, I have to log in twice. ALWAYS!! It's just a little thing, but aggravating.

I log in with name and password and it comes back with the "invalid password" thing. "Maybe you have cap lock on," it says. NOOOOOOOO

I've retyped the info in sooooooo many times, very slowly, key by key. Well and I've done tha on the initial entry, too.

So what is up with that????

At one point I tried to set it up to log me in automatically, and that wouldn't work either.

I have a fear that one day it just won't log me in at all.

My theory on it: Currenty yahoo only gives 4 MB of free space. I joined yahoo back in the old days when you got a big, whopping SIX MBS of storage space. Lately I have 4-some MBs in use.

I think they want to get rid of my big account and want me GONE!! It's my yahoo conspiracy theory!!

Does anyone else have problems logging in on a consistent basis?

Go to redirection.net and get your own domain name. They have a domain name forwarding and email forwarding service, all for only $15 a year. With their service you can point your new domain name (www.xyz.com) to whatever web page you want (or none at all if you want), and also forward an unlimited number of email addresses to any other email addresses. I point my email address at my ISP's email account, plus another "junk" address to the same ISP account. I use the junk address for things like online purchases - if I get too much spam through the junk address I'll just turn it off and make a new one. In 4 years of doing that I have maybe gotten a dozen pieces of spam. In 4 years. Plus its really nice having an unknown domain name that the spammers will never know and any email address I want.
