bought a RAKE yesturday!!

Oh MY, it's pure love. I got to play in my new yard all weekend.
I swept, raked up all the garbage and placed new rocks around and planned out where i am going to put my garden (with the blessing from my landlord, fingers crossed)

we went to the store and bought $60.00 worth of seeds.
flowers and veggies and a rose bush.
the children spent some good time together planting there seeds in little dixie cups. they were so sweet to watch.

so I did all this yard work with the weather in the 50's only to wake up today and hear we are going to get up to 4 inches of snow on tuesday

Feeling the same way Mapes. Rotten crappy Northern teaser weather! All I want is to get my bike on the trails, my boat in the water and my seeds in the ground. Mother Nature is a freakin' TEASE!

I think I'm going to hit Play it again Sports and see if I can find a used wetsuit so I can handle paddling ice water lakes.

Man escapes prosecution for animal sex

AMSTERDAM — A man caught having sex with a pony cannot be prosecuted because bestiality is not illegal in the Netherlands, it was reported Wednesday.

There has been a string of unsolved vicious sex attacks on horses in the east of the Netherlands in recent years.

Newspaper De Telegraaf said pony owners Fred and Ria Herszkowicz entered the stall containing their three-year-old pony Bella and discovered a 65-year-old man with his trousers around his ankles.

He ran off but was caught a short time later by police. He had to be released again because the animal had no visible injuries.

As Paul Harvey would say now you know the rest of the srtory (if you go to htis link:) http://www.expatica.com/source/site_article.asp?subchannel_id=19&story_id=5479

Happy Spring
"Spring Begins On March 20th...
Or Is It The 19th? and what about May Day
Los Angeles - Mar 16, 2004
The coming of spring in 2004 will pose a bit of a quandary for weather announcers and others in the news media. Does it happen on March 19th or 20th?
It depends on what time zone you're in. In the eastern half of the US, the March equinox happens at 1:49 a.m. Eastern Standard Time or 12:49 a.m. Central Time on Saturday morning, March 20th. But in the western half of the country, spring begins at 11:49 p.m. Mountain Time or 10:49 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday evening, March 19th"

I am sooo ready for spring! bring in on baby!
