Bianchi Endurance THP
Do any of you have experience
with this pack ? I am trying to
find out how much it weighs.
This all the information that I
can find on the pack . . . . .

Bianchi Endurance THP
This tactical duty backpack features Stealth contoured shoulder harnesses, Gullwing padded waistband, 10 pockets/attachments, a CoolMax lined back, Velcro webbing on the waist belt for wearing a holster & pouches, and includes the Hydro-Cell System, to keep you hydrated. Measures 8.5"w x 18"h x 8"d.

any suggestions on main -
stream packs with similar
size and hydration system?

I own two military style packs, one by London Bridge the othe by Blackhawk. I would steer you away from them (or any "tactical" pack) for a few reasons. Poor design for hiking (the pocket size and configuration) and overal pack weight. They tend to be a touch "over engineered" in terms of durability. Great for combat overkill for the trail. Sorry I could answer your question, but I hope my input helps.

Thanks Birch.

I am now looking at the
"peak Bagger" by CamelBak.
Are any of you using one ?

I own a camelbak "mule" that I love! I havent used a peakbagger though...What is the size and type of pack you are looking for. That may help others to make suggestions.

I just retired from DOD.
I've missed all the trail gear
upgrades over the last 25
years . . . . guess that's why I
was looking at Bianchi.

I am looking for something
that will do for a long dayhike
and maybe an overnight if I
go very light.

I am satisfied with my career.

It was 25 years of endless
stress and never charming
or glamorous.

How about you?

I have deep respect for each
who have stood up and made
their contribution.

I look forward to our meeting on
the trail one day.
