The light turned green and my foot automatically went from the break to the gas but then I stopped, hesitated and looked up to make sure the light was really green. It made me think how many times in life do we do that? We see the light is green, all the signs say go but we hesitate..we either sit there and think about it before moving forward or at times we don't go at all...we sit there until the light it turns red and we have lost the chance to proceed. OR...how many times do we see the light turn red and blow through it any way even without looking to see if it is safe to inter the intersection. We risk the lives of ourselves and others. It is due to our selfishnes and own agenda's that we don't yeild to make sure that it is safe to proceed. Think about it...there is more than just a driving lesson there.” 12:20:19 PM 2/27/07 “I tend to look both ways no matter what color the light is --- VBG What did the previous George Bush always say about 'prudence'?” 12:36:17 PM 2/27/07 “thanks for that, jackie handy” 12:37:28 PM 2/27/07 “I made a stop at a Walgreens a few years ago the morning we were leaving for Cancun. Mind you, this was at about 5 in the morning so there was little traffic on the main roads. I was turning left, but waiting for the light to release me. I got the arrow, but like you said above, I hesitated. I looked to my left and a semi barrelled through the red light traveling at leat 45 MPH. If I would have hit the gas, the truck would have hit me. Pretty scary! Had a good time in Cancun though” 12:39:07 PM 2/27/07 “What did the previous George Bush always say about 'prudence'? I dunno, something about kinder, gentler bombs exploding in a thousand points of light.” 12:43:04 PM 2/27/07 “Glad you made it to Cancun! See perfect example!!! However, let's think deeper!” 12:43:47 PM 2/27/07 “LOL @ crash!” 12:48:45 PM 2/27/07 “I like your thought Crazygurl...although it can be good to hesitate, If you wait to long, it may be too late.” 12:51:21 PM 2/27/07 “Yes, the semi of opportunity may only knock once.” 12:53:44 PM 2/27/07 “For Sure, HPM --” 1:07:45 PM 2/27/07 “LOL...riding in command of a HUGE Aerial Truck (its a beast that weighs almost three times as much as the engines) we come up to an intersection with lights blinking....I look up and notice the wheels on a grannymobile are still turning....I warned my driver, and we locked the brakes. Granny goes through HER RED LIGHT just looking at us the whole time. Then she is in front of us going 25 in a 45 steadily looking in the rear view mirror like "What in the He!! are they doing back there?"” 1:25:50 PM 2/27/07 “You people! It is not a red light, nor a stop light nor a green light. It a traffic signal.” 2:48:50 PM 2/27/07 “Thank-you, Miss Grundy. or would you prefer 'Mr. Dictionary-Breath? ;-)” 2:56:24 PM 2/27/07
