There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra than on Alzheimer's research.
This means that by 2020, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

I'm an old fan!

Got to see them in January 1970. Great show and Jim was in prime form that night...

Yeah, Jim was just into the Budweisers that night. Didn't look too messed up on anything else. Also, first time I saw him with a beard. Didn't recognize him at first...

Our Sunday paper had their annual "Who Makes What" issue. Judge Judy = $25,000,000
Supreme Court Judy $190,000

This country is way screwed up!

Have you ever observed that we pay much more attention to a wise passage when it is quoted than when we read it in the original author?

Oh HEEEERE's a cheery thought for a Sunny Friday Afternoon...

We're playing those mind games together
Pushing the barriers, planting seeds
Playing the mind guerrilla
Chanting the mantra, peace on earth
We all been playing those mind games forever
Some kinda druid dudes lifting the veil
Doing the mind guerrilla
Some call it magic, the search for the grail

Love is the answer and you know that for sure
Love is a flower, you got to let it, you got to let it grow

So keep on playing those mind games together
Faith in the future, outta the now
You just can't beat on those mind guerrillas
Absolute elsewhere in the stones of your mind
Yeah we're playing those mind games forever
Projecting our images in space and in time

Yes is the answer and you know that for sure
Yes is surrender, you got to let it, you got to let it go

So keep on playing those mind games together
Doing the ritual dance in the sun
Millions of mind guerrillas
Putting their soul power to the karmic wheel
Keep on playing those mind games forever
Raising the spirit of peace and love

Love......

(I want you to make love, not war, I know you've heard it before)

Some people are like Slinkies
Not really good for anything
But they still bring a smile to your face
When you push them down a flight of stairs

Some people are like shooting range targets
Not good for much
But it still scares the hell out of people
When you fill them full of holes and hang them on your cube wall

Disturbing thoughts these are. Fear and anger I feel in these two. Wary of the dark side we must be.

Intersections
As I was sitting at the red light today; on the way back from lunch. The light turned green and my foot automatically went from the break to the gas but then I stopped, hesitated and looked up to make sure the light was really green.

It made me think how many times in life do we do that? We see the light is green, all the signs say go but we hesitate..we either sit there and think about it before moving forward or at times we don't go at all...we sit there until the light it turns red and we have lost the chance to proceed.

OR...how many times do we see the light turn red and blow through it any way even without looking to see if it is safe to inter the intersection. We risk the lives of ourselves and others. It is due to our selfishnes and own agenda's that we don't yeild to make sure that it is safe to proceed.

Think about it...there is more than just a driving lesson there.

I made a stop at a Walgreens a few years ago the morning we were leaving for Cancun. Mind you, this was at about 5 in the morning so there was little traffic on the main roads.

I was turning left, but waiting for the light to release me. I got the arrow, but like you said above, I hesitated. I looked to my left and a semi barrelled through the red light traveling at leat 45 MPH.

If I would have hit the gas, the truck would have hit me.

Pretty scary! Had a good time in Cancun though

LOL...riding in command of a HUGE Aerial Truck (its a beast that weighs almost three times as much as the engines) we come up to an intersection with lights blinking....I look up and notice the wheels on a grannymobile are still turning....I warned my driver, and we locked the brakes. Granny goes through HER RED LIGHT just looking at us the whole time. Then she is in front of us going 25 in a 45 steadily looking in the rear view mirror like "What in the He!! are they doing back there?"
