Shasta in June

How was Misery Hill?”

“Steve, I felt pretty strong when I went up misery hill. It was further to the summit from there than I thought, but I was going slow and steady. When we got to the summit, I felt I could do another 1000 feet or so. Last time I tried Rainier, I was really tired, so for Shasta I trained harder.”
