I'm more concerned about the rocks in Bushs and Kerrys head.

LMAO, Must Hike. So are we all. If the asteroid enters the race, it could win.

You think the gov't would tell anyone if they found out with three days to spare that a devastating rock was gonna hit us?

Really, it sounds bad, but what would be the point in alerting us when there's NOTHING that could be done?

That one was only about 100 ft in diameter, a little smaller (they think) than the one that caused the Tunguska blast. So, even if it was going to hit the earth, the likelihood is low that there would have been any serious repercussions.

Bit
I guess it would depend on whether you were on Earth or on the rock that hits it.

It all depends on where it hits, and 70% of the Earth is ocean. Although an ocean strike could be quite devastating, depending where it hits.

Speaking of disasters, anybody see the program where they essentially told all the terrorists, "Wanna wipe out the east coast of the US? Here's where to do it!"?

Don't you love when shows do that? It makes me want to walk up to the person, punch them in the face, and ask them, "What are you #&%!$ing dumb? Don’t give them any ideas."

It's almost as dumb as the people who, as part of environmental regs, want all chemical factories to publish their disaster plans, which contain info on what they consider to be their "Worst-Case Scenario", and how it might occur. Nitwits.
