You All Suck! Leaving TrailTalk Forever

“gforce will be here in approximately 13 hours and then we're off to amicalola falls lodge in georgia. we're going to check out the falls and do some of the benton mckaye trail and then spend the night on springer. then sunday, gforce will drive my car back, while i make tracks and hopefully spend the night on sassafras mountain. ive tied up all loose ends in my "civilized" life, and my gear is organized and laid out on the bed, ready to be packed. im estimating a 45 pound pack that will no doubt get lighter as it gets warmer and i decide i can do without stuff. my longest trip previously has been 5 days/4 nites at isle royale, and boy was a hot shower the most welcome thing ever at that point (we got rained on ALL day).

goodbye, friends, trolls (you know who you are), and bacpac. i love some of you, am amused by others, and puzzled by other others. now get out there and hike, dammit!

oh, and check out my trailjournal from time to time. if you find any spelling or grammatical errors, remember that treebeard is transcribing, and i was an english major in college. first batch should be online towards the end of the month.
