“Read the following statement and tell what fallacy it qualifies as:

"Mr. Jones is paid a six figure salary. If his job is worthless, why would he be paid six figures?"

I was thinking Begging the Question, but I'm not sure. I am sure it is a fallacy though, lol, I just can't recall the type.”

“Circular logic.

The question is if Mr Jone's job is worth the money he's paid and the assertion is that it must be worth it because he's being paid for it.”

“Unless you’re the child of a politician and you get hired by a large corporation and paid an exorbitant salary for basically a no show job so your parent will vote in ways that favor that corporation.”
