Twinks
well, let me know if you want to go up on that following weekend and we will take you. I can't get out two weekends in a row. I am pretty bound down between kids, mom, scouts and other responsibities that it doesn't leave me much leverage and time in getting away...

Suggestion Twinks:

Can we just do one day of really kickass dayhiking in Harriman?

I have all maps and guidebooks for Harriman right here...

Have you ever hiked the 1777 trails or been through the Doodletown area?

I love that hike, Adventurist. I just did it again with my scouts a few months ago. We found a real cool iron mine this time. Great trip. I am always open to that one...

Maybe you know...

What section actually still has the cobblestone road?

I do remember a stretch like that, Adv. But, not having the map in front of me, I can't ID it. Trying to get a hold of Maple. She may know what the section is called. I'll get back to you...

I've actually done that section three times....not really keen on doing it for this trip. It is a nice trail though...

We could do the Suffren-Bear Mtn trail across the park?

Maybe that's overshooting?

Adventurist, I am going to look that trail map over at home later and try to answer your question about the cobblestones. Perhaps, we can get together at a different time and do this hike. It IS an enjoyable trail and has lots of history there....

nah - it's my insecurities showing - the paper will be good - maybe not great but that's because I've got many more classes to go before I truely start to comprehend the topic and it's implications....

But my professor is tough and I'm worried about citings etc....

I'm not an expert but one more person always helps...

Send it to me by email and I'll look it over to the best of my abilities...

I would never make fun of you!

Well, unless you did a faceplant in the snow and couldn't get back up!
