Man, Wu's pissed, and uh, Swearingen's "pissed" too... OUCH!

BTW - I had the pleasure of watching it in HD last night, beautiful.

From the preview, it looks as though Al recovers. Whether Dan Dority recovers is up in the air.

How long before the commissioner meets Wu's pigs?

Wu is upset because of that Chinese guy who is setting up Cy Tolliver with whores.

Good god, the Philadelphia teams suck even on Deadwood:

Deadwood Nuggets
On April 1, 1876 the first National League baseball game was played. (Boston 6 - Philadelphia 5)

That would have been the original Philadelphia Athletics. The Phillies did not move from Worshester until 1883.

... not to mention Jane and the black guy.

I'm still trying to figure out his significance. Does he work for Wolcott or what?

Looked like the writers just discovered there were no Black people in the show and added two on.

I thought last nights show wasn't up to the usual standards.

What the he11 is going on with the ex-nanny????

Fields was just a guy that rented a mount from the other african American named Hostetler. He returned to town to pay for it and wound up getting assaulted with the tar because the angry mob was diverted from going after Jarry, the commissioner. So, they took their anger out on him.
Treebeard

He was supposed to be the diversion while others attacked the jail to get Jarry. I was expecting that Swearengen would off Jarry, but he's trying to keep him alive because if he dies they'd think Al did it.

Tolliver didn't seem too happy that Bullock saved Jarry's worthless hide. He seems to be burning the candle at both ends. Looks like Wolcot will be cutting him loose next week.

I loved the dude's explanation: "I didn't f... the horse; I just j....d off on its leg!"

In other words, "I may be a pervert, but I'm not that kind of pervert!"

Distinctions count.

Okay, so where does that leave us? Bullock is married to his brother's widow, but Alma Garrett is going to have his baby. Meanwhile, Bullock's horse has been having sex with Steve, whose lights Bullock punched out in a fit of male jealousy rage.

Man, this beats soap opera all to hell!

I like how swearingen is a bad ass dude who'll kill with the slightest provocation and Bullock is a (self) righteous "priick" who always does the right thing, but circumstances have teamed the two of them together into a formidable force.

Yeah, but I'm not sure why... It could be that she needs him alive as a counterbalance to Cy Tolliver. But remember, by pushing the miner-guy to marry Mrs Garrett, she's got to know that he'll eventually tell her who killed her husband...

I love this show.

I wondered which she would have shot too.

The correct nomenclature would be Sol's "f***ing partner."

I thought she was Sol's "f***ing partner. :)
hyway
12:13:17 PM
4/14/05

Let me try to clarify that for ya hyway.

There is f***ing partner, which means she wants to f*** him.

And there is f***'-ing partner, which means Bullock.

Damned English language!
Geobeet
12:34:37 PM
4/14/05

to be true deadwoodese you would need to say "Sol's "f***ing partner, the c***sucker." to mean Bullock.”
hyway

Perhaps owing to her profession, Trixie doesn't use that term in the perjorative sense very much. Things do get confusing, don't they?

Yes, Stikkie, I posted that more than a month ago. Dillahunt is a damn fine actor to pull off both of those parts. Of course, it took tons of make-up to play Jack McGraw.

Looks as though Bullock is gonna be back on the market. Will Alma be available, or will she be headed east on a train in the custody of Miss Isringhausen?

Just four c*cks*cking episodes left this f***ing season, dammitalltogoddamhell!

I love this show, but at least while I wait for the second season I can watch the 2nd season of Entourage, which starts June 5th.

About deadwood, I had read somewhere that once the Hearst mine is up and running strong that Walcott dissappears from history. I though Calamity Jane was gonna dissappear him there at the end.
