“I saw him last weekend at Trail Days and he is doing really well. He was at the 25% mark and was going to join the "Hard Core" trail crew for a day or two of trail maintenance on Mon or Tue of this past week. So he should be back on the trail now and cruising north on his way to Harper's Ferry.

He looked great and was really enjoying the trail.”

“I just got Crash's journals and started entering them yesterday. I don't know how much more I will get to do over the weekend as I am taking the scout troop for an overnight tomorrow. I will finish the updates when I get back...”

“I tried to catch up with Crash Bang on Saturday in SNP - found an entry at Pine Field Hut from Friday from C!-B! which is what I am guessing is Crash Bang's signature but that is all I found.”

“Glad he made it out of the Damascus vortex...Trail Days has ended many a thru-hiker's dreams.”

“I gave a thru-hiker (Blonde girl, don't think I ever got her name) a ride from Thornton Gap to Gravel Springs on Saturday evening. I hiked down to the shelter but didn't find anything from him. She did mention to me that he was signing C!B!.”

“Crash's journals are now up to May 10th. I have about another ten days to enter. Will do those tomorrow morning. Happy reading, folks!”
